münster 05/06
designed in cooperation with malte ziegler advised by prof. dipl.-ing. kirsten schemel
this project is based on an architectural competion in 2006 by the german milk industry. the task was to design an exhibition pavillon for the milk industry. The location for the pavillons was generated by a precise analysis of the typical dairy cow landscape. we located this countryside in the north of niedersachsen, a federal state of germany close to the north sea. the exhibition area provides an internal and external space to experience the dependence between different soil conditions, dairy cows and milk. the field is divided in different levels from -1.0 to +2.5. the visitors first walk over the whole site before reaching the entrance for the interiorexhibition.
